Geometric Tattoo Artist Specializing in Sacred Geometry & Dotwork
I’m Chase Nolan, a professional geometric tattoo artist specializing in sacred geometry, dotwork, mandalas, and large-scale custom black and grey tattoos. My work is focused on precision, balance, and longevity, with every design created specifically for the individual wearing it.
Geometric tattoos require a high level of technical control and planning. Clean linework, consistent dot spacing, and symmetry are essential for the tattoo to age well over time. Because of this, I take a limited number of projects and focus on tattoos that allow the design to flow naturally with the body.
What Makes My Geometric Tattoos Different
Unlike generic pattern-based tattoos, my geometric work is fully custom and designed around the client’s anatomy. I take into account body movement, muscle structure, and natural symmetry to ensure the tattoo complements the form rather than fighting against it.
- Custom-designed geometric compositions
- Sacred geometry and symbolic pattern work
- Black and grey dotwork shading
- Precision linework built to age cleanly
- Large-scale projects planned for long-term cohesion
Geometric Tattoo Placements
Geometric tattoos work especially well on areas that allow symmetry and flow. Some of the most common placements I work on include:
- Chest and sternum tattoos
- Full and half sleeves
- Back and spine designs
- Stomach and torso patterns
- Leg sleeves and large-scale lower body work
Each placement is approached differently to ensure the design moves naturally with the body and maintains visual balance from all angles.
Sacred Geometry Tattoos
Sacred geometry tattoos are based on repeating patterns and symbols found throughout nature, mathematics, and ancient cultures. These designs often carry personal or spiritual meaning while maintaining a strong visual structure.
Common elements in sacred geometry tattoos include mandalas, symmetrical patterns, and interconnected forms. Every sacred geometry tattoo I create is custom-drawn and tailored to the individual, ensuring the design feels intentional rather than decorative.
My Process
Every geometric tattoo begins with a consultation. During this process, we discuss placement, scale, flow, and the overall vision for the piece. From there, I design a custom composition that fits the body and the long-term goals of the tattoo.
For larger projects, sessions may be planned in stages to allow proper healing and to ensure the final result maintains clarity and consistency throughout the entire piece.
Booking a Geometric Tattoo
I tattoo by appointment only and focus on custom geometric and sacred geometry work. If you’re interested in starting a new project or adding to an existing piece, I recommend submitting a tattoo request with as much detail as possible.
I also travel nationwide throughout the year for select tattoo conventions. If you’re interested in booking while I’m on the road, you can view my tour dates to see where I’ll be tattooing next.
